I’m a member of Manifesto Klezmer Band, contributing lyrics, vocals, and arrangements. Check out the latest album, Hele Bleter/Bright Leaves. Meanwhile, This album from 2018 features my song versions of some of the poetry of Anna Margolin (here are my translations). I’ve contributed voice and lyrics to the band Here and Elsewhere since 2007. Here is a new single, Very Rich Hours (summer 2022). You can find more samples of my words and singing here and here and here–you can also hear that last tune on the soundtrack of the 2019 film Salton Sea.

I have also recorded music as Sadie American, though you’ll have to ask nicely and come visit if you want to hear it. One time I played the Fez in NYC. It was pretty cool.
